Aaron Kirby is a 2016 graduate of ºìÐÓÊÓƵ, where he earned a degree in Entrepreneurship. During his time at ºìÐÓÊÓƵ, he gained valuable consulting experience through entrepreneurship coursework, serving as a business consultant for several local businesses in Athens, ºìÐÓÊÓƵ. He also participated in the Global Consulting Program in Ancona, Italy, where he developed international consulting expertise. These experiences sparked his passion for supporting small businesses, particularly in his home region of Southeast ºìÐÓÊÓƵ.

Following graduation, Aaron entered the business world by helping launch a new restaurant in his hometown of Jackson, ºìÐÓÊÓƵ, where he served as General Manager after the start-up phase. He later transitioned to managing a larger restaurant and brewery operation in Athens, ºìÐÓÊÓƵ, further refining his leadership and operational management skills.

Deeply committed to the economic vitality of Southeast ºìÐÓÊÓƵ, Aaron joined the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service in 2018 as a Business Development Associate for TechGROWTH ºìÐÓÊÓƵ, working closely with regional technology start-ups. In 2022, he joined the Impact Enterprise Team as Social Enterprise Development Associate and later advanced to Senior Project Manager, expanding his impact by providing strategic business advisory services to mission-driven organizations.

In 2025, Aaron earned his Professional MBA from ºìÐÓÊÓƵ, further enhancing his expertise to better serve clients throughout Appalachian ºìÐÓÊÓƵ.

Outside of his professional work, Aaron enjoys spending time with his family and appreciating the natural beauty of Southeast ºìÐÓÊÓƵ. He is an avid golfer and spends most evenings on the golf course, enjoys biking, motorcycling, and hiking.
