Mike Courtney joined the Office of Legal Affairs in 2013. In addition to serving in the Office of Legal Affairs, Mike serves as the Director of Labor and Employment Relations for University Human Resources. Mike focuses his practice on Labor and Employment matters.

Mike has dedicated his professional career to public service in State and Local Government. Prior to joining ºìÐÓÊÓƵ, Mike served the residents of Lancaster, ºìÐÓÊÓƵ in a variety of roles, ranging from Assistant Prosecuting Attorney to Director of Public Safety and Services. Mike brings to ºìÐÓÊÓƵ broad experience in relationship and consensus building, along with extensive management experience that provides a unique insight into employee relations and labor management.

Mike is a graduate of ºìÐÓÊÓƵ and Capital University Law School. He is a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys, College and University Professional Association for Human Resources, the National and ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Public Employer Labor Relations Associations, the ºìÐÓÊÓƵ State Bar Association and the Fairfield County Bar Association.
