Nicole Kirchner is a Senior Project Manager on the Energy and Environment Team in The Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service at ºìÐÓÊÓƵ. Ms. Kirchner received her Master of Science degree in Environmental and Plant Biology from ºìÐÓÊÓƵ and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Botany from ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Wesleyan University with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies. Ms. Kirchner has spent almost twenty years conducting research and outreach in the areas of forestry, plant biology, wetland ecology, and sustainability, and is a former secondary science teacher. As a Senior Project Manager, Ms. Kirchner collaborates with community partners, government agencies, university faculty, and students on research, outreach, and educational activities related to sustainability, energy, wetland restoration, and environmental education in Appalachia.
