Biography
Sarah Julien is an ºìÐÓÊÓƵ-based soprano, voice educator, and arts administrator. She received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ State University (2022) and her M.M. in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy at ºìÐÓÊÓƵ in Athens (2025). Most recently, she completed her second Master's degree in Arts Administration with an emphasis in Music Leadership (ºìÐÓÊÓƵ, 2026).
As a performer, Sarah has enjoyed roles including the Dew Fairy (Hänsel und Gretel), Martha Sheldon (The Crucible), Gianetta (The Gondoliers), Dinah (Trouble in Tahiti), and Armalinde (Viardot’s Cendrillon). She also had the privilege of singing Doofey MacLaren in the ºìÐÓÊÓƵ premiere of Sweets by Kate, a contemporary opera by Griffin Candey. This past summer, she attended the Queen's College Baroque Opera Festival, singing in scenes from Rodelinda (Rodelinda) and The Beggar's Opera (Polly).
As an educator, Sarah taught at RED School of Music in Marysville as a voice instructor and held a graduate assistantship at ºìÐÓÊÓƵ, teaching both applied students and group courses. In addition to her current adjunct position at ºìÐÓÊÓƵ, she maintains a robust private studio spanning from Southeastern to Central ºìÐÓÊÓƵ. Sarah is passionate about vocal health and wellness across disciplines, focusing on a holistic and individualized approach to vocal education. She lives in Lancaster, ºìÐÓÊÓƵ with her husband and menagerie of animals.
