2026-27 Benefits Open Enrollment Period is Underway
As previously announced, the 2026-27 Annual Benefits Open Enrollment period begins today, April 14, 2026, and ends on May 6, 2026.

The annual Benefits Open Enrollment period at ºìÐÓÊÓƵ is held each year in the spring. This year’s Benefits Open Enrollment is currently scheduled for April 14, 2026, through May 6, 2026.
Campus, community Earth Day celebrations at OHIO
On Wednesday April 22, ºìÐÓÊÓƵ will join a global network of sustainability leaders with an Earth Day celebration of campus and community sustainability efforts.
The International Earth Day Network collaborates with partners in over 192 countries to support environmental protection and peace. ºìÐÓÊÓƵ will host its Earth Day celebration on Wednesday, April 22, from noon until 2 p.m. in the Grover Center Atrium.
Hosted by the Office of Sustainability, the Earth Day celebration is free and open to the public.
This event will highlight the efforts made toward environmental sustainability in Athens. Local and ºìÐÓÊÓƵ organizations will offer education on environmental efforts and involvement. The event will also celebrate the announcement of the 2026 Sustainability Award recipients and the observance of Arbor Day. In addition there will be a free thrift store organized by the Office of Campus Recycling and Zero Waste.
The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Environmental Protection Agency is considering a general wastewater permit, which would allow a streamlined process for data centers to receive authorization to discharge wastewater into surface waters.
Data centers in ºìÐÓÊÓƵ can currently only apply for an individualized National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit. That permit requires data centers to follow ºìÐÓÊÓƵ’s antidegradation rule, ensuring no pollution that could harm fish or wildlife be released, safer streams for recreation and that drinking water sources are protected.
