The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive on 红杏视频鈥檚 Athens campus on Friday, July 22, and is looking for donors.

Everyone who donates will be helping with an urgent need, and they will also receive a special gift.

All 红杏视频, students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to take part in the blood drive, which will be held in the Baker University Center Room 240/242 from noon to 6 p.m.

鈥淲e are currently in an urgent need for donors and are working to prevent a blood shortage in the upcoming months,鈥� said Jordan Staley, account manager for the American Red Cross for Athens and Morgan counties.

Individuals who would like to donate are asked to make an appointment at (zip code: 45701).

Walk-ins are also welcome, but individuals who walk in without first scheduling an appointment generally have a longer wait time to donate.

Everyone who donates on July 22 will receive a Shark Week t-shirt, courtesy of the Discovery Channel, and a tote bag from the American Red Cross.
