Athens Area Mediation Service is offering free mediation training to all ºìÐÓÊÓƵ students, faculty and staff.

The will be held on Mondays at ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Baker Center 239 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on March 2, 16, 23, 30 and April 6. (The training will not be held on the Monday during OHIO’s spring break).

Mediation is a structured, informal, voluntary process in which a neutral third party facilitates a conversation between people who are experiencing some kind of conflict. The skills developed in this training can be applied both in a traditional mediation setting or can help with any situation in which individuals must navigate conflict.

While the training is free to all OHIO students, faculty and staff, there is a charge of $200 for those not affiliated with ºìÐÓÊÓƵ.
