The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Executive Staff Policy Committee and President Lori Stewart Gonzalez have given final approval to six policies.

Final approval was granted to the following policies on Aug. 20, 2026.

• 24.001: Alcoholic Beverages on University Property and in Fraternity and Sorority Houses - This policy governs who may serve or sell alcohol on University property, under what conditions, and with what approvals and restrictions.
• 40.001: Nondiscrimination in Education and Employment - This policy sets forth the expectations and responsibilities for maintaining a safe educational and employment environment free of discrimination, harassment and intimidation.
• 40.058: Administrative Compensation  - Pay determination decisions should support the University's commitment to a market-based pay approach. This ensures the University's ability to attract and retain the talent needed to support ºìÐÓÊÓƵ's mission and initiatives.
• 40.063: Flexible Work Schedule, Flexible Hours, and Flexplace for Administrators and Classified Employees - As a matter of work-life balance ºìÐÓÊÓƵ provides flexible work schedules, flexible hours and flexible work location options for administrators and classified employees.
• 40.121: Recruitment and Selection of Faculty and Staff  - In accordance with federal law and Chapter 124 of the Revised Code, the University’s policy is to engage in recruitment practices that yield the best applicants for vacancies. This policy covers all faculty and staff positions at ºìÐÓÊÓƵ.
• 55.030: Purchasing - The policy requires that all University-funded purchases are authorized and in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations; University rules, procedures, and policies; and applicable donor or sponsor-specific requirements.
