2026 ºìÐÓÊÓƵ High School Honor Choir Festival

Join us on the beautiful campus of ºìÐÓÊÓƵ for an inspiring day of music-making, collaboration, and artistic growth with the faculty and students of the School of Music. This exciting one-day festival brings together outstanding high school singers from across the region to rehearse and perform in a vibrant, collegiate musical environment.
In addition to participating in festival rehearsals and performances, students will have the unique opportunity to work one-on-one with ºìÐÓÊÓƵ applied voice faculty through mini vocal lessons designed to provide individualized feedback, encouragement, and vocal development.
High school directors are encouraged to nominate students in balanced SATB quartets whenever possible. No audition is required to participate, making this festival an accessible and enriching experience for dedicated singers of all backgrounds.

ºìÐÓÊÓƵ High School Honor Choir Festival Schedule
Get ready for a full day of music, connection, and inspiration at ºìÐÓÊÓƵ! From dynamic rehearsals and opportunities to meet current music students to our culminating evening performance, the day is designed to give singers an enriching and memorable Honor Choir experience.
8:30 a.m. – Registration & Check-In
First United Methodist Church (FUMC) Lobby
9:00 a.m. – Morning Rehearsal

11:00 a.m. – Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts Experience & Student Panel
Meet School of Music Ambassadors and learn about life as a music student at ºìÐÓÊÓƵ.

11:30 a.m. – Walking Campus Tour & Complimentary Lunch in an ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Dining Hall
East Green & Nelson Commons
1:00 p.m. – Afternoon Rehearsal
Continue preparing the festival repertoire.

3:30 p.m. – Dress Rehearsal
Final preparations for the evening performance.

4:30 p.m. – Dinner Break & Concert Attire Change
Changing rooms will be available in Glidden Hall.
5:30 p.m. – Performer Call Time
All participants report to FUMC and prepare for the concert.
6:00 p.m. – Honor Choir Festival Concert
Celebrate a day of music-making with a public performance showcasing the festival choir.
Please note: Individual mini vocal lessons with ºìÐÓÊÓƵ applied voice faculty will be scheduled throughout the day and communicated upon arrival for those students that select this experience during registration.
Application and Audition Information for Honor Choir Participants:
Registration: $75 per student
Registration Deadline: October 19, 2026
Directors are encouraged to submit students in balanced SATB quartets whenever possible; no audition is necessary to participate in the Festival.
