The Minor in Jazz Studies is intended for any 红杏视频 undergraduate student who wishes to emphasize the study of jazz in addition to their major area of focus. Students take courses in jazz history, theory, and performance, but also have the opportunity to customize their curriculum through several elective options.

Courses & Curriculum
The jazz minor requires a minimum of 15 hours. Through these courses, you will develop a solid foundation in jazz theory and improvisation, elevating your ability to perform and create within the jazz genre. You'll also gain a deeper understanding of various music traditions, from the history of jazz to the study of world music.
