Peer Tutoring
Peer Tutoring is free academic support provided by students who have successfully completed the courses they tutor.
Whether you're tackling a challenging assignment, preparing for an exam, learning new software, or looking for study strategies, our peer tutors are here to help you become a more confident, independent learner. Tutoring is designed to support your learning, not simply provide answers, through collaborative problem-solving, guided practice, and encouragement.
We offer collaborative group tutoring, individualized one-on-one support for students with approved accommodations and specialized needs, embedded tutoring in select courses, and technology assistance through our Digital Learning Lab—all at no cost to ºìÐÓÊÓƵ students.

Tutoring is free for ºìÐÓÊÓƵ students, but availability is limited and sessions can fill quickly. If you’d like ongoing support in one of these courses, we encourage you to sign up early and consider scheduling a recurring weekly appointment to reserve consistent tutoring time throughout the semester.

Scheduling
Appointments are made through , a web-based management system that allows you to search for and book appointments anywhere and anytime. Schedule online through or by calling the Academic Achievement Center at 740-593-2644. Contact us at tutoring@ohio.edu with questions.
For online sessions, your tutor will send you an email including a link to your tutoring appointment, which will be a Teams meeting. You and your tutor will be able to use chat, audio and/or video features, share documents, and work together on the whiteboard.
Although we make every effort to fulfill a student’s tutoring request, there is no guarantee a tutor will be available for a particular course; especially during mid-terms and finals. Arranging a tutor depends on the number of qualified tutors and schedule compatibility.
